Bryan Reeves est marchand d’art tribal africain depuis près de quatre décennies, passant d’un stand sur le marché de Portobello Road à une galerie londonienne solidement établie depuis plus de 30 ans.
Au fil du temps, il n’a cessé d’affiner son regard et de faire évoluer son goût. Il a beaucoup voyagé à travers l’Afrique et a vécu pendant une longue période en Tanzanie, développant ainsi un intérêt et une expertise approfondis pour les arts traditionnels d’Afrique de l’Est.
Bryan est le fondateur de « Tribal Perspectives », devenu par la suite « Tribal Art London », aujourd’hui la principale foire d’art tribal au Royaume-Uni et un rendez-vous majeur sur la scène internationale.
Au-delà de la vente aux amateurs d’art tribal, Bryan a contribué à la constitution de nombreuses collections privées, au Royaume-Uni comme à l’étranger. Il expose chaque année à San Francisco, Amsterdam et Londres.

Bryan Reeves has been dealing in African tribal art for nearly four decades, progressing from a market stall on Portobello Road to a long-established London based gallery of over 30 years.
Throughout this time, he has been constantly refining his eye and evolving his taste. Over the years, he has travelled extensively throughout Africa and settled in Tanzania for an extended period. This has led to him developing a keen interest and knowledge in traditional art from East Africa.
Bryan was the founder of 'Tribal Perspectives' which later evolved to become 'Tribal Art London' which has developed into the leading tribal art fair in the UK and a major event on the international tribal art calendar.
Besides selling to the general tribal art enthusiast, Bryan has also helped build many private collections both in the UK and abroad. He exhibits annually in San Francisco, Amsterdam, and London.
